1 historical place across Carbon County, Utah.
This monument honors the women who crossed plains and mountains to build homes and communities in the Price River Valley, preserving the often-overlooked story of women's work in pioneer settlement. First dedicated in 1931, the monument lost its original statue and plaques before local historians reconstructed its story and restored it with a new bronze pioneer woman in 2011.
