Submit Event Guidelines
Everything you need to know to get your event published on Side Quest Utah.
What We Accept
Events happening in Utah (or within 50 miles of the border)
Public events that anyone can attend — festivals, concerts, markets, outdoor activities, community gatherings
Free and paid events (ticketed events are welcome)
Recurring events (weekly markets, monthly meetups, etc.)
Events from organizers, venues, businesses, and community groups
What We Don't Accept
Events outside Utah
Private or invitation-only events
Events promoting illegal activities or substances
Multi-level marketing or purely promotional sales pitches
Duplicate listings for the same event
Events with misleading or false information
Tips for a Great Listing
Clear title: Use the event name, not just a genre. "Utah Jazz Festival 2026" beats "Jazz Event".
Good image: Upload a high-quality image or flyer. Listings with images get more views.
Short description: The one-liner shows on cards — make it catchy and informative.
Full details: Include what to expect, age requirements, what to bring, parking info.
Accurate location: Include the full address so we can show distance to users nearby.
Ticket link: Add your website or ticketing URL so people can easily buy or RSVP.
Review Process
All submissions are reviewed by our team before going live. Here's what to expect:
1. Submission: Fill out the event form with as much detail as possible.
2. Review: Our team reviews your event, usually within 24–48 hours.
3. Approval: Once approved, your event appears publicly on the site.
4. Edits: If your event is still pending, you can edit it. If it's already approved, request changes through your organizer dashboard.
