Annabella began in 1871 when four pioneer families established homes near Omni Point at the base of Cove Mountain. Named for early settlers Anna Roberts and Isabella Dalton, the community grew through the difficult work of building irrigation canals, clearing farmland, constructing homes, and creating schools and gathering places in Utah's Sevier Valley.
